Year 11 Art Exhibition

The Year 11 Fine Art students are holding an exhibition of their work on Wednesday, 26th June, in the Green Room at Bower Park, between 2.30 and 5 pm. Cupcakes will be on sale, and a share of the proceeds will be donated to Havering Mind.  

Bower Park Girls are National Champions

Bower Park’s Under-15 Girls’ handball team became national champions at the Derby Arena this weekend, after narrowly missing out on penalties last year. In addition, our Under-13 girls were runners-up in their section. As 1,750 schools entered this competition, this is a great achievement for both teams.

Bowerstock Price Cut

The Bowerstock feast of entertainment is now even more of a bargain! Ticket prices have been reduced to £2.00 for adults and £1.00 for children, to encourage even more people to come and join us for a fun-packed evening of music, dance, stalls, food and refreshments.  

Bower Park on the March

Bower Park will once again be represented at the Romford Pride march, which this year will take place on Saturday, July 27th.  The parade will begin at 12 noon, and march from Romford Station to the marketplace, before turning and heading back to the area in South Street opposite the Moon and Stars pub. Bowerstock Back Again

Bowerstock, Bower Park’s outdoor evening of music and dance, will be back on Friday, 5th July. As well as a feast of entertainment, there will be stalls and refreshments. Entry costs £5.00 for adults and £2.50 for children. A family ticket costs £12.50.  This is always a popular event, so don’t miss out!    

Bingo Returns to Bower Park

The Friends of Bower are hosting another Bingo Night on Friday, 10th May. Doors open at 7 pm, and entry, which includes a drink, costs £3.00. A full book for twelve games will cost £12.00. Tickets may be purchased from Ticketsource by clicking here.
